Alma Lennox, M.S.W., R.S.W.
Often, we know where we want to go but aren’t sure how to get there. Alma believes that life experiences, whether from childhood or adulthood, shape who we are and how we cope; positively or reactively. Alma supports her clients in regulating powerful feelings to help reduce negative reactions. She helps her clients be thoughtful in the moment, so they can make choices that improve their relationships, whether personal or professional.
Having struggled with tensions since her early years, she firmly believes that early experiences shape our current reality in ways we don’t always understand. Alma often works with clients to explore their early years, so they can better understand how to reduce immediate distress and develop an understanding of to navigate relationships. She believes this understanding can be deeply meaningful, comforting and transformative.
Alma provides a recovery-based holistic model of therapy, drawing experience and formal education and training in trauma-focused and attachment-based approaches. This is a relationship focused on your needs and can be a source of healing, strength and transformation, therapy can also enhance understanding and clarity in relationships, increasing satisfaction and connection in your day-to-day life.
