At the Vaughan Relationship Centre, Ingrid enjoys helping clients learn how to meditate. She has seen clients improve their ability to:
• manage their anger
• control impulses,
• reduce anxious thoughts,
• improve feelings of depression,
• and improve their interactions with the partners.
Ingrid is passionate in helping clients understand why they are stuck around their behaviours and help them break free of repetitive negative cycles. She has a repertoire of techniques to help clients find individual solutions.
Ingrid also enjoys the practice of Reiki (pronounced Ray-Ki). Reiki is an ancient Japanese technique for relaxation that also promotes healing. Everyone has an energy force that flows through them and this limitless universal life force energy is channeled by the practitioner’s hands releasing warm and soothing energy to open blocks, balance Chakras, and create a flow of vital healing energy to bring the body back to its own natural balance.
Lastly, Ingrid teaches gentle yoga to help clients develop physical and inner strength, balance and energy. Yoga can be helpful in improving how you breathe, muscle discomfort from stress, and improve flexibility. These movements are simple, gentle and easy to learn and for all ages and levels of fitness and co-ordination.
Ingrid finds passion helping clients live with a sense of inner freedom and happiness. She became passionate in helping others achieve a healthier lifestyle when she worked in the corporate legal industry and witnessed how stress and physical injuries can quickly change people’s lives. Ingrid’s clients and teachers report that she has a gentle and effective way of empowering her clients so they can achieve better health and well-being. She has received feedback that she has innate gift of making people feel comfortable, relaxed, and prepared to start the challenge towards improved well-being.
