At Vaughan Relationship Centre, our counselling and therapy services are provided on a fee-for-service basis and are not covered by OHIP. Many clients choose to pay out of pocket, but most prefer to use their extended health benefits. If you don’t have benefits coverage, we’re happy to explore options to support your mental health and relationship goals.

The number of sessions depends on your unique situation. For some clients, 8–10 sessions may provide significant progress. If you are engaging in couples therapy for one or exploring family counselling services, your therapist will work with you to create a plan that fits your goals.
Each of our therapists has their own fee structure. Once we determine the best fit for your needs, we’ll let you know the specific rate before beginning therapy. There are no surprises just transparent, upfront communication so you can make an informed decision.
If you’re unsure whether your coverage includes services from a couples therapist, best family therapist, or sex therapist, we’re here to guide you.
For every negative interaction during conflict, a stable and happy marriage has five (or more) positive interactions.
