Chantelle believes that meaningful change begins when we feel understood—not judged, blamed, or pressured to have everything figured out.
Many people come to therapy knowing that something in their life or relationships is not working, but feeling unsure about why the same conflicts, emotions, or patterns keep returning. Chantelle helps clients slow things down, look beneath the immediate concern, and develop a clearer understanding of what may be influencing the way they think, feel, communicate, and respond.
Her approach is compassionate, curious, and collaborative. Rather than assuming there is one “right” way forward, Chantelle works alongside her clients to understand their experiences, recognize repeating patterns, and identify changes that feel realistic and consistent with their values.
In her work with individuals, couples, and families, Chantelle supports clients navigating relationship difficulties, grief and loss, caregiving responsibilities, emotional distress, stress, and significant life transitions. She understands that the challenges people bring to therapy are rarely separate from the rest of their lives. Our relationships can be shaped by early experiences, family dynamics, culture, health, responsibilities, and the ways we have learned to protect ourselves and connect with others.
In session, Chantelle may use reflective conversation, mindfulness, exploration of emotional and relationship patterns, practical communication strategies, and tools for managing stress and strong emotional reactions. She helps clients move beyond simply understanding what is happening and begin translating those insights into meaningful changes in their everyday lives.
Chantelle recognizes that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable. She works at a thoughtful pace and approaches difficult conversations with care. Clients are encouraged to ask questions, offer feedback, and take an active role in shaping the direction of their counselling.
Clients can expect Chantelle to provide a warm, emotionally safe, and non-judgmental space where they feel genuinely heard and understood. Her goal is to help clients approach themselves and others with greater empathy, communicate their needs more clearly, and respond to difficult situations with increased awareness and intention.
Chantelle is a Registered Social Worker with a Bachelor of Social Work degree. She is currently completing her Master of Social Work at the University of Windsor and is a Student Associate with the Canadian Association for Couple and Family Therapy.
