VRC Collective

A Professional Home Where You Can Grow Your Practice in the Safety of Community

Being a therapist can be deeply meaningful work. It can also be isolating.

We believe relationship therapists shouldn’t have to build successful practices alone.

The Collective is a professional home for relationship-focused therapists who want to grow thriving practices while being part of something larger than themselves — a community built on collaboration, contribution, professional excellence, and genuine support.

Here, we don’t simply share office space. We build together.

Why We Exist

We’re building a community of relationship specialists who invest in one another, help each other’s practices thrive, and elevate the care available to the people we serve.

For Therapists:
A Professional Home

The Collective offers relationship therapists a professional home where they can collaborate, consult, learn from one another, share their strengths, and grow their practices without having to figure everything out alone. Our goal is not simply to fill offices. It is to create a community where therapists feel connected, supported, challenged to grow, and genuinely invested in one another's success.

For Clients:
A Trusted Place for Relationship Care

Our vision is to make it easier for individuals, couples, and families to find trusted, specialized relationship care in one place. By bringing together clinicians with different areas of specialization — from couples therapy and premarital work to sexuality, neurodivergence, parenting transitions, separation, divorce, mediation, and other relationship challenges — clients can find care that fits the particular season and complexity of their relationships.

For the Profession: Raising the Standard Together

Relationship therapy requires specialized knowledge, ongoing learning, thoughtful consultation, and ethical practice. We believe therapists become stronger clinicians when they have access to colleagues with different perspectives and areas of expertise. Through collaboration, specialization, consultation, and shared learning, we aim to elevate the standard of relationship care in our community.

When therapists thrive together, the care we provide becomes stronger too.

Our Purpose

To create a professional home where relationship therapists can thrive together rather than build alone — supporting one another in developing successful practices while providing trusted, specialized relationship care to our community.

What It Means to Be Part of the Collective

The Collective is not simply a place to rent an office.

Membership means choosing to participate in a professional community. We believe the strength of the Collective depends on what each of us contributes to it.

Members are expected to:

Participate.
Our community works because people show up. Members participate in regular Collective meetings, conversations, consultation, and shared initiatives.

Contribute.
Everyone brings different strengths. Members contribute to the visibility and growth of the Collective in ways that fit their skills — whether through networking, community relationships, content, outreach, referrals, events, or other forms of practice development.

Collaborate rather than compete.
We want each member to have a thriving practice. Through collective marketing, we support everyone’s practices.

Support one another’s success.
When someone isn’t getting the opportunities or referrals they need, we will support and work together to help the member build a thriving practice.

Practice with integrity.
Members share a commitment to ethical, responsible, specialized relationship care and to continued professional development.

Communicate with respect.
Concerns are welcome. Constructive conversation is essential. We approach challenges with curiosity, accountability, and a willingness to participate in solutions.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for relationship-focused therapists who want more than a place to practice.

You may already have an established private practice, or you may be building one. What matters most is that you want to build alongside other people rather than beside other people.

We’re looking for therapists who:

  • Are passionate about relationship work. You have a genuine interest in working with couples and relationships.  You may bring a particular specialty — such as sex therapy, neurodivergence, addiction, parenting, adoption, discernment, divorce, mediation, or another complementary area.
  • Value community over isolation. You want colleagues you know, trust, consult with, learn from, and genuinely enjoy working alongside.
  • Want to build a thriving practice. You care about doing excellent clinical work and creating a sustainable and ethical practice.
  • Are willing to contribute, not simply receive. The Collective isn’t a referral service or office-sharing arrangement. We each take responsibility for helping the community grow. You don’t need to be a marketing expert — we want people with different strengths — but you do need to be willing to participate in five (5) hours per month of marketing efforts.  If this feels daunting, we can discuss other contributions.
  • Value professionalism and ethical practice. We want the Collective to become a trusted home for relationship care in our community. Every clinician contributes to that reputation.
  • Approach challenges collaboratively. When something isn’t working, we talk about it. We look at the information, ask questions, share ideas, and work toward solutions.

If you’re looking for colleagues rather than competitors, contribution rather than transaction, and a professional home rather than simply an office, you may be exactly who we’re looking for.

The goal is collective flourishing.

We want every therapist who becomes part of this community to be able to look back and say:

I became a stronger therapist here.

I built a healthier practice here.

I had people I could learn from and lean on.

I contributed something meaningful.

And I didn’t have to do it alone.

I found a professional home.
